JSS Medical College, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research offers Degree and Diploma courses including 13 UG and 40 PG courses. Additionally, it also has Advanced Masters courses. These programs are offerred in Full Time mode.

The highest package offered at Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) for MD is 12 Lakh per Annum. UPUMS, also known as the U.P. Rural Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, is a state medical university established in 2016 in Saifai by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. It offers various UG, PG, and Diploma courses in medical, dental, paramedical sciences, nursing, and pharmacy.

MDS placements at the Post-Graduate Institute of Dental Science in 2021 showed encouraging results. 29 MDS candidates were placed. With a median compensation package of INR 9.84 LPA, MDS graduates' pay trended upward. This amount is more than the BDS grads' median package, which was INR 7 LPA. The data show a favourable trend for MDS placements at PGIDS Rohtak, demonstrating the institute's dedication to providing its postgraduate dentistry students with fulfilling career options.

AIIMS Bhopal offers medical education at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level with courses such as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), BSc (Nursing), MD, MS, MCh, Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Critical Care (PDCC) and PhD in all its branches and related fields, along with Nursing and Paramedical training. 

The MD specialisations offered at AIIMS Bhopal are MD in Anaesthesiology, MD in Biochemistry, MD in Dermatology, MD in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, MD in General Medicine, MD in Hospital Administration, MD in Microbiology, MD in Paediatrics, MD in Pathology, and MD in Pharmacology.

Selection for the MD programme at Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata is based on the NEET-PG entrance examination conducted by the Director General of Health Science. The merit list is prepared based on candidates' scores in NEET PG, and counseling is conducted by the DGHS. Candidates who clear the cut-off score of NEET-PG will be forwarded to complete the admission process.

Candidates interested in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme at Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata must have passed MBBS from a Medical college recognised by the Medical Council of India.

Additionally, they should have completed a rotating internship of at least one year after passing the MBBS examination and must be registered (Provisional or Permanent) with any Medical Council (State or Central).
