To be eligible for an MD programme at the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) in Talegaon, you must: 

Have a 50% aggregate in your MBBS degree

Pass the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET)

SRM Dental College Kattankulathur (KTR) has a total intake of 18 students for its MDS programme. These seats are further distributed among the MDS specialisations offered at the college. The college offers six specialisations under the MDS programme. There are three seat available for each specialisation. These seats are filled through the MCC NEET MDS counselling based on the NEET MDS scores of the applicants. No, there is no provision for direct admission to the MDS course at SRM Kattankulathur Dental College. The admission is solely based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) ranks secured by the applicants. Only NEET-qualified candidates can participate in the MCC NEET counselling conducted by the MCC. It is mandatory to participate in the centralised counselling process for securing a seat for MDS at SRM Dental College (KTR).

Candidates seeking MDS admission at SRM Dental College Kattankulathur must register for the NEET MDS counselling counducted by the MCC. The exact counselling schedule for MDS admissions 2025 is not out yet. However, based on the previous year trends, the counselling process is expected to start in July 2025. The exact schedule will tentatively be released in June 2025, after the declaration of NEET MDS results.
