Admission to the MD in Dermatology at Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Hyderabad, is done based on the scores obtained in the NEET PG exam. In 2024, the last round cutoff rank for the exam was around 8728 for the students belonging to the general category. Please note that the cutoff varies for the students belonging to other categories.

Yes, you can appear for the UGC NET exam, but only in a few subjects that match your education. The UGC NET exam is normally taken by the aspirants of Masters Degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

Having a Masters Degree in Dentistry from Public Health Department, you can apply for UGC NET in Public Health (if any) or courses like Medical Sciences or Life Sciences, depending on the specialisation and the specific syllabus of your Master's programme a part of which. However, courses like dentistry or specific medical fields may not fit directly into the UGC NET syllabus.

Hi.At the PG level, Gujarat Adani Institute of Medical Sciences under KSKVKU, Bhuj provides a 3 years MD in Pathology course to the students. The total cost for this course is INR 2820000. Besides tuition fee, students are expected to pay a one-time admission fee of INR 50000 and hostel fees is Rs 3 Lakh. Utkal University accepts NEET MDS scores for admission to the MDS courses offered by the institute. The courses offered by the institute were MDS in Oral Surgery, MDS in Orthodontics and MDS in Public Health Dentistry. The only course available at 350 rank in the NEET MDS is MDS in Public Health Dentistry, as the last-round closing rank for the same was 460 for the General All India category candidates.

To be eligible for an MD in Psychiatry at the Institute of Human Behavior and Allied Sciences (IHBAS) in Delhi, you must meet the following criteria:

Have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate that is recognised by the NMC Act, 2019

Have a permanent or provisional registration certificate for MBBS from the NMC or the State Medical Council.

Candidate have to have finished BDS presented through a University or Institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or everlasting registration and has passed through obligatory rotatory internship of a year in an authorized/regarded dental university.
