Candidates with a valid score in GATE or OJEE do not require appearing for KIITEE. Besides, selection to PhD programmes is based on GATE, OJEE, UGC NET, CSIR NET or KIITEE.

Yes, KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering considers KIITEE scores conducted by KIIT Bhubaneshwar. Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology Entrance Examination is conducted online at national-level. The test is conducted three-times in a year for two-hours in English language. Besides, aspirants can also apply with a valid score in any of the accepted national or state-level entrance exams such as GATE, OJEE, etc.

KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering does not offer direct admission. Candidates are offered seat in the school based on entrance exam scores of the candidate. KIITEE is one of the entrance exam considered for admission to all the offered programmes. Besides, candidates can also apply with a valid OJEE, GATE, etc. scores for admission to specific courses.
