You may get admission there but I am not so sure about this. As in 2015, the closing rank for mechanical engineering was 39000 and from 2015, we saw that a gradual decrease in demand of engineering courses it is a point of hope for you. I would suggest you to appear in the counseling and go till the final round. Rather than VITEE, you should try for some other ways too.

If you fulfill the eligibility criteria of the specific institute, you may complete further admission formalities. For now, I would suggest you to first contact the institute officials of the shortlisted universities directly for specific eligibility criteria details.

Hi Pranav A, it is best you get in touch with some study abroad consultant who can evaluate your full profile and help you shortlist universities. As far as I know for Ph.D. you have to do some research and follow-ups yourself by contacting universities and the supervisors rather than depending on a counsellor to suggest you universities. You must be accepted by a supervisor first of all. Submit your profile, papers, publications etc. To such universities.

Hi Theru Shanmuga,
You can get. It will be competitive but chances could be there if you have a good profile overall. You must have some good projects and internships in hand, excellent recommendation letters, a very strong personal statement which sometimes carry a lot of weightage. You may try taking the GRE its not mandatory. German universities also considers publications and any research work, patent for MS admissions. If you have it all chances are there.
