Before proceeding, make sure that you fulfil the basic eligibility criteria for B.Sc in Medical Lab technology which is as follows:
* A candidate must have cleared 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university from the Science stream with compulsory subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Biochemistry and Mathematics).
* Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Medical Lab Technology are also eligible to join. * The minimum cut-off is 50%, which differs depending on the institute or college.
* Clearing an entrance exam is mandatory in order to get into the most reputed institutes.

From my side, I can say that CMC, Vellore is really good to do B.Sc MLT. It is not just the course, exposure you get here, credibility of the institution. Everything matter.

B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology Admission Procedure:
* Most colleges provide admission forms online while it can also be collected offline by visiting the respective campuses.
* Few institutions offer direct admissions based on 10+2 scores while the others organize aptitude tests or accept scores of national/ State level exams.
* The details of the same can be obtained from the college website or the statutory body in charge of the test.
* Colleges put up merit lists after releasing test results and those meet the cut-off requirement will then be granted admission.

B.Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology is a 3-year undergraduate course which is divided into 6 semesters, with each year comprising of 2 semesters. A semester normally contains a minimum of 5 subjects or more. Manipal University and a handful of other institutes offer a 4-year programme that includes an internship.
