while a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) provides a strong foundation in medical science and diagnostics, it does not qualify one to become a doctor. 

However, an MLT graduate can pursue further education to transition into a medical career if they really wish to become a doctor. 

For instance, they could enrol in MBBS, which is the standard pathway to becoming a doctor in India. This requires meeting the necessary prerequisites and passing entrance exams like NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).

No, pursuing a degree in MLT does not require the NEET.

NEET is primarily used for admission into undergraduate medical courses such as MBBS and BDS. In contrast, admission to a BSc MLT program is generally based on Class 12 scores or CUET scores.
