The NEET UG 2023 cutoff for Vardhman Institute of Medical Sciences (VIMS) was 8081 for the MBBS course in Round 1.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET UG 2023 cutoff, which was 720 to 137 for the general category and 136 to 107 for OBC/SC/ST. The OBC category's cut-off marks are typically 10 to 15 marks lower than the General category.

With a score of 325 in NEET 2024 you can't get any government medical college for MBBS if you come in BC B category. Due to thenrank inflation this year.

You cab try your luck at other courses like BUMS etc

You are required to score 50% in PCB if general and  40% if other category like OBC, SC, ST, EWS etc.

It seems that you havent fulfilled the criteria and are therefore ineligible for NEET 2025.

You may give improvement exam to become eligible.

Yes according to the information bulletin of NEET 2024 you are eligible.

Students who have passed 12 th from NIOS with PCB and English with 50% marks are eligible to appear in neet.

But OBC and SC ST can be eligible with even 40 %

Yes, ofcourse you can get admission into many reputated BDS, BAMS or BHMS government college at this score in NEET. The cut-off for many government college of BAMS, BHMS, or BDS are always lower than 450 marks (except top 5 colleges) for reserved categories in NEET.

No, this is not possible . you should take a year drop and increase your marks . Also depends on some factors like

  • Cutoff for that year
  • State quota

Try to increase your marks upto 250, than very high chance you have to get college.

Yes your score is good enough for private medical college,  I have seen people taking private colleges at almost qualifying marks around 117 (general) ,94 (SCand OBC) this year in 2022. Yes you can easily get a private med.

It is difficult to get a seat for BAMS in Rajasthan with this score of your in NEET as the cutoff goes higher marks than this. However if you belong to any other category not general then you may have a chance.

To join a B.Sc Nursing programme in a government college in India, it is necessary to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). They are mostly government colleges with high cutoffs ranging between 50-60% marks in NEET. But as per your NEET score of 182 marks which is approximately 40-45% and 77% in 12th boards, you are likely to get admission in most of the top government colleges provided you clear the cutoffs.

Hi Imran, Unfortunately, your score of 462 is below the expected cutoff scores for government colleges.

According to the NEET cutoff scores for government colleges in the year 2024, there is three classifications as per the category detailed as

  1. General category: 720-162
  2. OBC category: 161-127
  3. SC category: 161-127

As you can see, your score of 462 falls short of these cutoff scores. It’s unlikely that you would be eligible for admission to government colleges for nursing programs.
