Haryana NEET Counselling

As per previous year's data, Haryana has a total of 2,710 MBBS seats. The 2026 seat matrix will inform about the change in these numbers.

The Haryana NEET Counselling 2026 registration link has been released on official portal. The registration is being held online at uhsrugcounselling.com.

Candidates need to fulfill the Haryana NEET eligibility conditions shared below:

• Candidate must be a citizen of India and should have qualified the NEET 2026
• Candidates who are bonafide residents of Haryana and whose parents have Haryana Residence Certificate can apply.
• For the Management Category, candidates across the country are eligible to apply.

The Directorate of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana conducts the state counselling for admission to UG medical and dental courses. DMER Haryana conducts the Haryana NEET counselling for the 85 per cent state quota seats.

• Click on the New Registration link.
• Enter NEET Roll Number and Application Number.
• Fill the required details.
• Upload the documents.
• Pay the application fee.
• Submit the form.

The Haryana NEET counselling 2026 round 1 started on August 27 and will conclude on September 9, 2026.

The DMER Haryana generally conducts four to five rounds of Haryana NEET UG counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses.

In general, the institute reporting process of Haryana NEET counselling is conducted for three to four days for each round. Candidates will have to check the important dates carefully and report to the institutes within the deadline. In certain cases, the last date of reporting to the institutes is extended. In general, the duration of institute reporting will be higher in the initial rounds of counselling if the number of candidates is higher and vice versa. 

In general, the total duration of the Haryana NEET UG counselling is of three to four months. The total number of counselling rounds is also around three to four. On an average, each round is conducted for a duration of one month. The exact durtion will be updated once the Directorate of Medical Education and Reseach (DMER) Haryana announces the round-wise schedule of the Haryana NEET counselling 2025. The number of rounds may exceed in case vacant seats are left after the last round of counselling. In that case the overall duration or the tenure of the counselling will also extend.
