In Maharashtra, if you're aiming for a government MBBS seat under the general category, you'd have needed around 642 marks in NEET 2024; that's an All India Rank close to 33,000. For OBC, the cutoff was slightly lower at 638, and for NTD category, it was 634. So yeah, unless you're scoring 640+, it's tough to make it to a top govt. medical college in the state.

If you're aiming for an MBBS seat in a Kerala government medical college, 625 marks was the cutoff in 2024 for the General/UR category. For 2025, expect it to hover around 625–640. Private colleges might have slightly lower cutoffs, but realistically, anything 610+ keeps you in the game for a good college. State quota helps, but competition's still intense. Play smart, aim high, and watch those seat allotment lists like a hawk.

To revise the complete NEET syllabus effectively, start by dividing topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology week-wise. Focus on NCERT books, make short notes for quick revision, and solve previous year papers and mock tests regularly. Use a timer for practice to build speed. Revise important formulas and diagrams daily, and take weekly full-length tests to track progress.

For SC category with defense quota:

- Minimum qualifying marks: 143-113 (40th percentile)

- Expected cutoff: 390-440 marks

- State quota seats: 420-479 marks

- Specific colleges: AIIMS Delhi (high cutoffs), Siddartha Medical College (473 marks), Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram (509-560 ranks)

Check specific cutoffs for your state and college.

The NEET application form is released by NTA on its official website. For 2025, it is expected around February. The application requires uploading your photograph, signature, and Class 10 certificate, along with a fee payment of approximately one thousand seven hundred rupees for general candidates. You must also select exam centres and verify all details carefully, as correction windows are limited.

For B.Sc Nursing, MH B.Sc Nursing CET is typically the GATE (NEET isn't required). For MBBS/MD/MS, NEET is mandatory. Always cross check the current Maharashtra CET Cell brochure—occasionally, overlapping circulars confuse applicants. Keep your medical fitness, domicile, category, and minority certificates handy well before counselling.
