NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, KGMU ranks 8th in Medical, 29th in State Public University and 83rd in the Overall category.
The NEET MDS 2026 application form is likely to be released in Feb 2026 for KGMU admission to MDS and PG Diploma (Dental) courses.

- The NEET UG Counselling 2025 special stray vacancy round seat allotment result has been published for admission to MBBS/BDS/BSc (Nursing) courses. By Dec 31, 2025, allotted candidates of this round must report to their allotted institutes.
- The NEET PG Counselling 2025 round 2 final seat allotment result has been announced for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. For round 3, the dates are expected to be released soon.
- The UP-NEET UG Counselling 2025 seat allotment result of the special stray vacancy round has been released for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. Candidates who have been allotted seats in this round must complete their admission process by Dec 31, 2025.

KGMU offers admission to MBBS course for a duration to five and half years (66 months). Admission to MBBS courses is entirely entrance-based. In order to get admission to MBBS course at KGMU, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board.
