Is NEET required for BSc Nursing in KGMU?

NEET rank and scores are not required if candidates want to seek admission to the BSc Nursing programme offered at King George's Medical University. The aspirants must appear for the Uttar Pradesh Common Nursing Entrance Test (UP CNET) if they want to get admission to the KGMU BSc Nursing course.

Can I get admission to MBBS at KGMU without NEET score?

No, candidates are not allowed to get admission to the MBBS course at KGMU without NEET scores. Unfortunately, it is not possible to pursue an MBBS degree in India without passing the NEET exam. To get selected by King George Medical University for the MBBS course, candidates must qualify for certain eligibility criteria from which the first one is candidates must complete their Class 12 from the PCB stream with a minimum of 50% scores. Secondly, candidates must appear and secure good scores in the NEET entrance examination. Lastly, the last seat allotments are based on candidates' performance in UP NEET counselling.

How much rank should I score to get KGMU?

KGMU UP NEET cutoff 2024 was released in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The cutoff was released for admission to MBBS course, for different categories under Home State quota. For students belonging to the General All India quota, the closing ranks for MBBS was 3484. For OBC Home State category candidates, KGMU MBBS cutoff was 3665. For the SC HS category and ST HS category candidates, the closing ranks were 37757 and 176581, respectively. Finally, for the PWD HS category, the last round closing rank stood at 660143.

NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, KGMU ranks 8th in Medical, 29th in State Public University and 83rd in the Overall category.

The NEET MDS 2026 exam date has been set as May 2, 2026 (tentatively) for KGMU admission to the MDS course. The registrations for the same are expected to start soon.

The NEET UG 2026 registration has started for admission to MBBS, BDS and other courses. The last date to register is Mar 8, 2026. Also, the NEET UG exam 2026 is going to be held on May 3, 2026.
Reporting for NEET PG 2025 round 3 is currently open for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses. The deadline to complete the reporting process at the allotted institution is Feb 13, 2026.
The UP NEET PG 2025 round 3 online choice filling deadline has again been extended to Feb 13, 2026, for admission to MD, MS, and Diploma courses. Students can expect the results to be declared on Feb 16, 2026.
