The competition is rising every year in the medical line. If you are a general category candidate, then you will have to score at least the qualifying marks for NEET to get admission in a private university.

The idea of conducting NEET twice a year is being reviewed again and will most probably drop off. Plus NEET 2019 was scheduled to be held in February and May, but not in December. And the admission processes will be conducted only once a year (in July-August). Even if NEET is conducted twice a year, the better of 2 scores will be considered for admission, so you'll have to wait till July for getting into a medical college. Good luck for your future.

Yes, NIOS are now allowed to appear for NEET. From 2019, NIOS and open school students are eligible to apply for NEET.
All the best!

You need to score the eligibility marks mentioned on your NEET UG result sheet. It is more than 233 so it is virtually not possible.

You would be eligible for all colleges once you clear the compartment. If you are able to clear your compartment before the last date of application only, you would be able to appear for the exam. Otherwise, as you have to fill your marks in the application form, you will not be able to fill up the form.

Yes, of course. Since you don't have backlogs and assuming that you are academically eligible for NEET, it wouldn't matter if you had to give compartment.
