The advantages to study in a merit seat compared to those in private medical colleges and those from foriegn countries is that u will have more competitions from your batchmates to get PG seats which will ultimately aid u which is the most important for us as MBBS is nothing but qualification for Postgraduation. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has decided to give guidelines to private colleges on where they can cap the upper limit of fees.
