The eligibility criteria for BAMS is class 12th with PCB and Sanskrit. Further, the admissions in BAMS BHMS and MBBS from this year will be made through UG NEET exam only. Hence, art stream students are not eligible for above programs.

But most institutes offering the D.Pharmacy course admit students based on performance in a relevant entrance test, often followed by a round of personal interview, wherein their general aptitude for the course is tested. Admission process generally varies across colleges.

Yes, CAT is important to write for pursuing MBA. Even for MBA in Pharma you must try for CAT. A Bachelor's degree gives you a good insight of technicality of Pharma discipline. To get the business aspect of same, you need to look at finance, marketing, bit of HR, Operations from perspective of Pharma Industry. So in this way CAT become important to get into top MBA institutes for pursuing MBA-Pharma.

According to the IIM admission criteria 2019-21, candidates appearing for CAT 2018 must have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50 per cent marks (for General category) and 45 Percent (for SC, ST and PWD category) or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university. So, if you are graduate and meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria than you have to appear in common entrance test. The tentative CAT schedule for year-2019 is as under-
1. Registration open: August-2019
2. Registration closed: September-2019
3. CAT test date: November-2019
