The candidate having the BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree is eligible to be called as a doctor and eligible to do the private practice. Job opportunities also exists in government sector. One can get a job in government Ayurveda hospital as an ayurvedic pharmacist. After the completion of this course, candidates also have opportunity to open their own retail shop of Ayurveda medicines. Teaching field is also open for BAMS graduates. They can find employment in private and government Ayurveda institutes. Regards.

The basic or degree level qualification for a medical profession is MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine And Bachelor Of Surgery) which is of 5 1/2 years duration (including 1 year internship). Selection for MBBS is through an All India Entrance Examination. Hello there,
No, NEET is not required to study abroad now. But there are other tests like TOEFL or IELTS and any other university specific entrance test which may be required.
