Bachelor of Dental Surgery or BDS course is an undergraduate course in the field of dentistry. This course helps an aspirant to become a dentist.
The duration of BDS degree ranges from 3 years to 5 years. The variation in duration is due to necessity of an internship or a lack thereof. The course can be pursued either in full time mode or in part time mode through correspondence.

For BDS course, the minimum eligibility criteria is mentioned below.
Passing senior secondary examination with an aggregate score of 50% from a recognized board or equivalent examination
It is required to have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as subjects in 12th class

How to Get Admission in Bachelor of Dental Science [BDS]
The candidates need to pass entrance exam to secure their place for the course. The most common entrance for the same is AICET BDS. Other than this exam, there are exams like NEET, MU OET, DUMET, AIPMT and COMEDK.
Further selection process is conducted as per the specific norms of the university. There are many universities which go for a counseling process for selection.
Entrance Mode

AICET BDS: This test is conducted for admissions in the field of dental science for admission in the private colleges for Chhattisgarh. Questions from Physics, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry
NEET: NEET is a qualifying entrance examination for admission in medical courses. It is accepted by institutes like Banaras Hindu University and Armed Forces Medical College.
AIPMT: Being held this year in May by CBSE, it is an entrance test accepted by most of the top universities. The syllabus for this test includes Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
madhya pradesh DMAT: Conducted by APDMC every July in Madhya Pradesh, it is a test that offers entry into a career in the medical field. The questions asked in entrance test are from Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Selection Process
The selection process varies from university to university. Some of the universities take admission only on the basis of scores in the relevant entrance exams. However, there are some universities which may go for a counseling procedure.

Students who want to join the B.Pharma programme have to fulfill the given eligibility criteria:
For admission to the Pharmacy courses, student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Students, those pass the three year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are also eligible.
Admission
To get admission into the Pharmacy course, students have to complete their 10+2 education & apply for national level or state level Pharmacy entrance exam. The national level entrance exam is Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). You can also apply for the state level exams such as TS EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, BCECE, WBJEE, etc as per the eligibility criteria of the exams.
There are various exams conducted by private and public universities for the admission to the various graduate and postgraduate Pharmacy courses. There are some of famous university level exams like BVP CET, IPU CET, MHT-CET, etc. Few Institutions offer direct admission into the Pharmacy program without appearing in an entrance test on the basis of the 12th marks.

After you Bachelors you can pursue MD - Doctor of Medicine (ayurveda) and MS - Master of Surgery (ayurveda), which are the post graduate degrees conferred. There are various institutions which offer post graduation degree in ayurveda, which is of 3 years duration.

BPT Course: Eligibility
Candidates wishing to pursue the course are needed to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria listed below in order to apply for the course:
Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent qualification, completed from a recognized university, in the Science stream, with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% or equivalent CGPA at the 10+2 level (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
BPT Course: Admission Process
Interested eligible candidates are offered admission to the course in India mostly on the basis of performance in a relevant institute-specific entrance test. Often subsequently, two additional rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview are held for assessment of the candidates general aptitude for the course.
