- You need to pass 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 60%.
- You should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
- You need to appear in entrance exam such as AIIMS Entrance Exam, NEET, etc.

There are no subdivisions under MBBS. However, you will come across various departments once you join MBBS. Departments like Anatomy Physiology Bio-chemistry Medicine Surgery, etc.

Apart from MBBS, BDS is the next preferred course by medical professional.
Apart from MBBS, BDS, other options are also there like B.Sc Biological Science, Nursing, Agriculture and B.Pharm.

No, you can't get lateral entry admission to MBBS after completing BHMS courses. Both the courses are different from each other though they belongs to same category.
Also note that there is no lateral entry in MBBS.

Hello Isha,
Yes, NEET is a single entrance exam to get in private colleges also, but you have to apply their application form also. Means, only one score is valid at every place but have to apply their forms.

Hello Rishu,
One must have dream in life. Since then only, we will make efforts towards it. What's your dream? If you have completed 12th and asking this question then why not B.Pharm? If you have done 10th then why not 12th B.Pharna? Ask these questions to yourself. You must aim for a degree. If finance does not allow, then only go for diploma.
