.getting into medical and allied sciences you need to take 2 things into consideration:
1.eligibility and cut off as per your state norms
2.your interest in a particular field
choose your career accordingly.

The two careers are not really comparable. They are very different in every aspect. Please think about your interest in choosing these. One of the factors can be the years of study you have to invest. Medical requires you to study for greater no of years than engineering. But both have good opportunities in their fields.
