The All India Post Graduate Medical Entrance Examination (AIPGMEE) is used to admit students to these postgraduate programs, and seats are assigned purely on the basis of merit while abiding by the normal reservation rules that apply to all applicants. Children of ESIC personnel must thus compete for postgraduate medical admissions using the regular requirements without any special consideration.
