The main purpose of the Community Health Nursing system is to protect and promote the wellness of people and communities who are deprived and underserved by the health system. Community Health Nurses visit these people, provide them with medical care, and educate them about self-care while raising awareness about public health concerns.
Therefore, being a Community Health Nurse, you'll be required to adapt to some changes such as frequent travel, diverse cultures and lifestyle barriers, heavy workload, etc.
Hope this answer will help you understand the Community Health Nursing purpose.

Community Health Nurses' primary duty is to promote health and prevent disease within a community by offering them direct medical care, education, and advocacy, sometimes working directly with people and families in their homes to assess their requirements, deliver preventive services, and minimize chronic conditions, all while considering the social and environmental aspects impacting their wellness.
They offer home visits to people in need, provide mental health support, and take follow-ups of patients they treat.
