No, Dietitians typically do not use stethoscopes, as they are not involved in diagnosing or treating medical conditions in the same way doctors or nurses do. A stethoscope is a tool used to listen to heartbeats, lung sounds, and other internal body sounds, which is within the scope of medical practice.

Dietitians focus on assessing and advising on nutrition and diet to promote health and manage medical conditions through dietary interventions.

No, a nutritionist does not need NEET to pursue their career. NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is specifically required for Medical courses like Medical0 BDS, and certain allied health sciences programs.

To become a nutritionist, candidates can pursue a BSc Nutrition and Dietetics or similar programs, which do not require NEET. Admissions to these programs are typically based on 10+2 marks or CUET scores conducted by specific universities.

A BA generally places more emphasis on critical thinking and communication that are important in any health care and policy setting; however, a BS most often gives a better preparatory base in technical and quantitative skills for laboratory research and advanced scientific study. If your goal is to pursue a career in medicine or research, consider complementing your BA with relevant experiences, such as internships or research projects, to enhance your qualifications.
