On the NEET exam, a candidate has an SC category score of 390, this means that there could be a possibility of getting admitted to an MBBS course especially if it's in a private medical college through the management quota seats but this is attributable to the number of available seats for candidates in each college to qualify for. The cutoff for the B.Sc. in Anaesthesia Technology course in the year for JIPMER, Puducherry is the latest cutoff based on the NEET-UG as JIPMER entrance exam is through NEET. In general category candidates, a NEET score of 450-500 or above is generally expected, although it changes every year depending on number of seats and competition. As seen, the handful set quota categories have a lower cutoff typically below 350-450 marks.Traditional category candidates, OBC, SC, and ST typically score below 450 marks. Thus, scoring much above the minimum cutoff as the case with JIPMER is preferred due to high demand.

The college cut-off is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for admission of students. A merit list will be designed on these cutoff scores. Aspirants who want to apply for the institute need to clear the cut off for various courses.

Actually there is no update of cut off till now.
