For being a 12th class student you can opt top medical colleges in India for various medical courses. Some of the premier institutons are All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS – 1157 seats), Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC – 150 seats) and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC- 250 seats). Other colleges are Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore which has 100 seats and Grant Medical College Mumbai which has 200 seats. Admissions to such college generally entail writing entrance examinations such as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Under Graduate (NEET-UG) for a total of ninety thousand partnering seats across the country. The fee structure for these programmes varies from INR 5,000 to INR 50,000 per annum in view of the college and course offered.

B. K. Mody Government Pharmacy College is regarded as a very good resort for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm) courses in the country. The college has established itself to the core in terms of solid academic structure, well-trained faculty, and well-constructed infrastructure facilities that enable students to get a sound understanding in pharmacy subjects. Government Pharmacy College of B.K. Mody has a wide variety of courses for pharmacy students. The best course has to be selected from among so many depending on an individual's career objectives and the field of interest. However, the college gives B. Pharm and M. Pharm courses generally.

 Out of these two, B. Pharm is most primary because it becomes one sought very much through students as it constitutes a very good-grounded understanding of pharmaceuticals, drug formulation, and healthcare practices.

M. Pharm courses are made to provide specialised subjects such as Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, and Quality Assurance among the above-mentioned courses. Such courses have been selected from those available depending on what the aspirant student wishes to pursue, whether it is in clinical pharmacy, industry pharmacy, or research. For example, a B. Pharm degree could serve as a good prelude to a student interested in entering careers related to the pharmaceutical industry, whereas M. Most of the time, admission into the B.Sc. Forensic Science program at the Institute of Forensic Science, Mumbai, is based on the marks obtained at HSC (12th) and other eligibility criteria for the course.

As a rule of thumb, admission is based on a minimum percentage of 50% at HSC or equivalent examinations with subjects in Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics) related to it. It, therefore, remains almost completely dependent on the applicants and their final selection number of seats available.

If you score beyond the cut-off as per HSC, it is that you may get into the program; however, it is recommended again to find updates about specific cut-offs or eligibility (eg. entrance tests or interviews). 

Considering your NEET 2024 rank expected to be around 13,000 means your getting a government MBBS seat will depend largely on the state to which you belong and the category under which application is made.

Top-notch colleges will probably be out of reach through All India Quota (AIQ); for example, to get into AIIMS or JIPMER, it would be quite difficult with the rank in AIQ.

 However, there will be good chances for admission in well-reputed government colleges from states like Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, or Karnataka, as cut-off ranks for general category students for some government MBBS colleges typically extend to around 12,000-15,000 in AIQ.
