No, to get admission to MD at D. Y. Patil Medical College, Kolhapur, candidates are required to qualify for NEET PG. Candidates seeking admission to this course must complete the minimum eligibility criteria and apply online on the official website of NEET PG to appear for the exam. Every candidate must qualify for the exam with a valid score. Only the NEET PG qualifiers will be able to register for the NEET PG counselling process, which is conducted by MCC. The final seat is allocated based on performance in the counselling round.

In India, BAMS and BHMS are considered almost similar to MBBS. These courses have strict syllabus including theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Both BAMS and BHMS graduates are legal in India and the practitioners can rightfully licensed to practice.

Yes it's possible for someone who has completed alternative medicine course like BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) to appear for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) again. 

If an individual has completed BAMS and wants to change to mainstream allopathic medicine they can attempt NEET exam again to pursue an MBBS course.
