Medical facilities are also there in the hostel and 24*7 nurses are also available in the hostel. Their main priority is students safety and their health. On-campus medical centre ensures all its students living on campus with immediate medical care in need. Any form of viral diseases, infections and minor things if any. It ensures the mental and physical health of the students. They respond in emergency situations.

The cutoff trend for MBBS at Baba Raghav Das Medical College has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for MBBS under general category for all India quota was 13662. In 2023, it decreased to 9229. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 14699 to 10201 for OBC 86769 to 71989 for SC 14623 to 10262 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

At Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology there is a 24x7 Health center in the campus which includes 05 Beds, 02 Residential Doctors, 03 Nurses & a medical attendant. There are also two ambulances available at the campus for shifting medical cases to CRH, the institute doesn't hold back at all for providing all the medical facilities as far as possible for the students or the faculty within the campus and takes the responsibility and the duty very graciously.
