NEET counselling is the process where the students choose and organize their college preferences. Then, the counselling authority goes through their choices and allocates them a seat keeping their rank in consideration. MBBS BDS AYUSH B.Sc. & AH, and B.Sc. Nursing admissions will be conducted online by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for NEET 2022. NTA will announce the counselling dates after the examination and NEET 2022 result announcement. In addition, the state conducting authority will release the NEET state rank 2022. All those candidates who register for the first-round for NEET counselling 2022 must provide their personal, academic, NEET-UG, contact, and other details. They must also pay the NEET 2022 counselling fee online. In addition, aspirants will need to select colleges for admission and courses during the MCC NEET counselling 2022. The step-wise process for the Mop-Up counselling is also explained further in the article. NEET-UG seats will be allocated after the registration process, considering the NEET scores, choices filled out, seats available, reservation criteria, among others. As a result, there will be approximately 20,000 seats under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET counselling. The counselling will provide the route to fill the seats in all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS colleges, AIIMS and JIPMER colleges. Based on the AIR, the examination authority will prepare the NEET Merit List 2022 which will identify the ranked names of the candidates who will qualify the NEET 2022 exam. The merit list will be forwarded to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) for MCC to implement NEET 2022 recommendation for 15% AIQ, Deemed / Central University seats, ESIC, AFMS and Center pool seats. The remaining 85% of the state quota seats in government colleges will be managed and allotted by state counselling bodies. These Sets will be allotted based on students' scores and ranks obtained in the NEET 2022 exam. The state counselling body will also responsible for providing admission to private medical/dental schools in a particular state.

The seats in private medical institutions are alloted based on the NEET score. The same is applicable to NEET PG also. Earlier anyone who even didn't give an NEET attempt are eligible for Management quota admission. According to the new norms for any kind of admission in a medical institution one needs to qualify NEET. A percentage of seats in a private medical institution are alloted for candidates who cleared NEET and have obtained a seat directly through the counseling. The fee structure of this candidates is decided by the government and is considerably very less. These seats are known as private seats. There are some other percentage of seats alloted for those candidates who didn't acquire a seat in private quota. These students need to apply for the Management quota of seats where the fee regulation is quite high when compared to private quota. There are some other seats which are alloted by the private board of members of those particular medical institutions. These students need to pay a high amount of fee when compared to private quota students which is almost 3-4 times higher than the normal fee. Candidates of these two cases fall under management quota. However for any quota one needs to qualify NEET or else he/she cannot acquire a seat in any medical institution.

Cut off: Admission to KV Gowda Medical College is based on the score obtained in the NEET exam. The cut-off marks for KVJMC in NEET are 540(plus). This is last year's cutoff mark. This year, the college cutoff is not out yet. For more information, you can visit the college or participate in counseling. The NEET results have been announced the last week.
