Nursing Training School, Burnpur Hospital, is one of the top nursing colleges in West Bengal. The training school is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences (WBUHS), Kolkata.
To get admission in the General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) course, the eligibility criteria are that the candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination from any recognized board in regular class mode with at least 40% marks in aggregate.
The candidate must be a registered ANM with passing marks. Also, if the candidate is a W.B. State Government employee, 3 years of uninterrupted and satisfactory experience is required as per the TR rule. Apart from it, the candidate must be able to read, write, and express himself in Bengali and/or Nepali.
In this college, admissions are usually done on a merit basis for 30 seats. You have to physically go and submit the admission forms in the admission department of the office.
After the registration process is over, a merit list will be put up so the selected students can check their names.

JJM Medical College is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The college offers admission to its undergraduate MBBS program based on NEET UG, followed by NEET UG counseling.
Based on the closing rank score for this college, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) publishes merit lists of eligible candidates for Karnataka NEET counselling in three rounds.
To be eligible, the candidate must have secured the 50th (40th for SC, ST, and OBC candidates) percentile in NEET. One can get admission with up to 570 marks in NEET.
This estimate is based on previous years, and for this year, 2022, the college is yet to declare cut-off. The cut-off will be available after the NEET counseling process is over.
Apart from NEET, 40% of admissions are granted on the basis of the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).
