Yes, ofcourse you can get admission into many reputated BDS, BAMS or BHMS government college at this score in NEET. The cut-off for many government college of BAMS, BHMS, or BDS are always lower than 450 marks (except top 5 colleges) for reserved categories in NEET.

No, this is not possible . you should take a year drop and increase your marks . Also depends on some factors like

  • Cutoff for that year
  • State quota

Try to increase your marks upto 250, than very high chance you have to get college.

To join a B.Sc Nursing programme in a government college in India, it is necessary to pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). They are mostly government colleges with high cutoffs ranging between 50-60% marks in NEET. But as per your NEET score of 182 marks which is approximately 40-45% and 77% in 12th boards, you are likely to get admission in most of the top government colleges provided you clear the cutoffs.

Hi Imran, Unfortunately, your score of 462 is below the expected cutoff scores for government colleges.

According to the NEET cutoff scores for government colleges in the year 2024, there is three classifications as per the category detailed as

  1. General category: 720-162
  2. OBC category: 161-127
  3. SC category: 161-127

As you can see, your score of 462 falls short of these cutoff scores. It’s unlikely that you would be eligible for admission to government colleges for nursing programs.

In case it is your father's middle name, and has been missed on your NEET admit card while it appears on other documents, then certainly it may raise an eyebrow during the counseling. These small discrepancies often get sorted out once you provide supporting documents that confirm the right name, such as your Aadhaar card, PAN card, or any other Government-issued ID showing your full name correctly.

At the time of counseling bring all the relevant documents which include your admit card, proof of identity and a declaration, in case of need and explaining the discrepancy. Generally, such issues can be sorted out if you are able to produc
