The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses under the General category for all India quota was 96638. In 2022, it decreased to 302. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 102725 to 5382 for OBC, 205228 to 46025 for SC, 284382 to 111680 for ST, 93122 to 1060 for EWS and 747213 to 137101 for PWD.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research other than General category are - 5382 for OBC, 46025 for SC, 111680 for ST, 1060 for EWS and 137101 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 302 and closing rank was 302. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in JIPMER Puducherry - Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
