Hello Awanish Tiwari, no MHT CET examination is not for admission under lateral entry scheme. This entrance exam is for students who have passed 12th standard or appearing for examination of 12th standard. Based on the result of this examination students are given admission in first year of 4 year degree course of engineering. On the other hand under the scheme of lateral mode of admission students who have completed their Diploma in engineering or allowed admission directly into second year of 4 year engineering degree course. You need to apply separately on the portal that will be made operation by directorate of technical education of the Government of Maharashtra in new course of time.
