Hello Sumit Jadhav, normally speaking the admissions to various engineering colleges in Maharashtra are based on the entrance exam conducted by the state government called MHT CET. Of course, the IIT and NIT which are located at Mumbai and Nagpur follow the set pattern of admissions via JEE advanced and JEE Mains respectively through j o s a. There are however certain colleges which offer seats based on JEE main ranking. There is a quota called all India quota and seats under this category are filled up by using JEE Mains ranking as the criteria.
