The Eligibility criteria of M.Sc (Microbiology) is B.Sc in Microbiology with 50% marks for general and 45% for reserved category. The admission in this programme is based on the performance in entrance test. The admission schedule is as under:-
1. Online application start date: Month of April-2019
2. Application End date: 1ts week of June-2019
3. Entrance test date: 2nd week of June-2019
4. Decelaration of result: Mid of June-2019
5. Test Center: Department of Microbiology, Fergusson College, Pune-04
Further the Group Discussion /Personal Interview/Counseling are the additional activities of admission. The course fee is about Rs. 60,430/- (For MH domicile) and Rs 1, 01620/- (For other states).

B.Sc Zoology is a very nice course for higher studies and for joining the teaching side, after doing this course one can appear for Indian Forest Service (IFoS) exam. Even positions are available in Central Government Offices like Zoological Survey of India, etc. For Research Fellows/Doctoral degree holders.
