B.Sc in Physiotherapy is an undergraduate course in science. The duration of the course is 3 to 4 years (depending on the University that offers the course). The course study mainly covers the method and techniques used in the eradication of diseases via physical exercises.
The modern methods in physiotherapy treatment such as electrotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc are also covered under the course. Further, physiotherapy also has a vast range of career options to choose. People can either work in India or go abroad and flourish their career in physiotherapy.
On the other hand, Industrial microbiology or microbial biotechnology encompasses the use of microorganisms in the manufacture of food or industrial products. The use of microorganisms for the production of food, either human or animal, is often considered a branch of food microbiology. The microbiologists have opportunities at places like research and development laboratories of government and private hospitals, research organizations, pharmaceutical, food, beverage and chemical industries.
After completing of M.D., Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree or doctoral degree, you can work as Scientist, Academic science administrator, Research director, Corporate executive, Consultant and Science advisor or administrator. So, it depends on what you want to pursue, where your interest lies.
