Hello Rohan,
By scope, you mean employment opportunities, I suppose. Well, there is very little scope in India for such specialisations. India is still a developing country and at nascent stage as far as research in life sciences is concerned. You may get jobs in research and development but the initial pay will be quite low. It may take you 4-5 years to get a decent pay package. The condition abroad is far better.
All the best.

After B.Sc in microbiology, food biotechnology is a better option as it will help you to understand microbial interaction during food processing and its cycle.

Why do you want to change from plant biological process specialist to plant biotechnology and bit and bobs of microbial interaction of the same? I am not saying it is a wrong option but as per my suggestion you should opt for more specific subject within plant biotechnology field.

MBA in microbiology should be advantageous to you. Most of the companies who are into microbial fermentation are looking forward for someone who can understand the need of market and develop products accordingly. He should be able to communicate the same in scientific language for better understanding of the product.

Hi Manshi,
Majority of the MLT programs in US are online and associate degree programs. You should check college's websites for international student requirements and make sure if it will help doing an online or even an associate degree program. You can check Rasmussen College, Folsom Lake College and Keiser University amongst others.
