MIT School of Computing admissions are both merit and entrance-based. The direct admission is only valid for admission to MSc programme. For this programme, candidates are selected based on their merit obtained in the last qualifying of graduation. Moreover, for remaining courses such as BTech and MTech, admissions are completely entrance-based.

Up until May 27, 2024, applicants could apply to the MIT ADT University Pune's School of Computing for a B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering if they received a score of 90% or more in PERA or 55% in JEE and CET.
