Admission to the MIT School of Engineering, Pune, is competitive, but it is possible if you put in a lot of effort and concentrate on the test. Only about 1000 of the over 30,000 applicants are accepted into the MIT School of Engineering so you have to prepare hard for it. and The difficulty level of getting admission depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the number of seats available, and the performance of the candidates in the entrance exams.

The NAAC has accredited the private MIT School of Engineering Pune, which is connected to Savitribai Phule Pune University in India. It provides Btech and Mtech undergraduate and graduate engineering and management programs in a variety of fields. The engineering programs are associated with Savitribai Phule Pune University and have received approval from the AICTE.

In terms of placement, the MIT School of Engineering is superior to the MIT School of Computing because of it's placement chances and package. The highest salary at the MIT School of Engineering is 44 LPA, with a 14 LPA tuition; in contrast, the highest salary at the MIT School of Computing is 13 LPA with a 10 LPA tuition.

The MIT School of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college affiliated with India's Savitribai Phule University. The costs are 3 LPA for Btech, 2 LPA for Mtech, and 1 LPA for MSC. India currently ranks it 36th out of 246 in the engineering category. Many students prefers to take admission in this university in Pune.

The placements for M.Tech graduates at MIT school of engineering PUNE are good and  decent. As of 2023, the highest package offered to M.Tech students is 24 LPA. And average package stood at 7 LPA. some of the major recruiting companies are IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Intel, Goldman Sachs, HCL, TCS, Infosys etc.

There are a total of 264 seats available for the M.Tech programme at MIT School of Engineering Pune, for the academic year 2023-2024. The intake for all specializations is 60, apart from Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering for which the number is 120.

The seat intake of all courses is as follows:

Admission at MIT school of engineering PUNE is based on marks scored in various entrance exams like GATE, MIT-WPU CET, PERA etc. PERA is only for Maharashtra students. The process includes: 

1. Meet eligibility criteria: Bachelor's degree in engineering or technology with 50% marks and valid GATE score.

2. Apply online (1500 rupees).

3. Appear for personal interview.

4. Receive offer letter and pay fees.
