The MMS (Master of Management Studies) at Vidyavardhini is a 2-year full-time program. Classes are typically held during regular weekday hours, so you'll have most evenings and weekends free. For exact class schedules, check with the college office or look out for orientation day announcements.

PGDM is better for you if you want career growth, private jobs, or to open your own travel company.

MMS is better if your budget is tight and you want a safe, recognised degree.

CMAT cutoffs for MMS programme in the best Maharashtra colleges are extremely tough. JBIMS Mumbai usually requires close to a 99.99% percentile, probably around 340 in 400. SIMSREE and K J Somaiya will require percentiles's in the 99.9% percentile range as well. For Welingkar Institute and PUMBA Pune, typically 99.9% range. These cutoffs are for general category and may actually not vary much year on year. Reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC will have cutoffs that are lower typical percentile of admission around 80 to 95 percentile. Admission for MMS will be purely on the basis of merit and available seats through the CAP counselling

The major difference between PGDM and MMS courses offered at Welingkar Mumbai is that the PGDM is programme offered by the institutes that are recognised by AICTE while the MMS is a degree programme offered by the university through colleges. The MMS course at Welingkar Mumbai is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. Moreover, the eligibility requirements and selection process for both the colleges are almost similar, requiring candidates to complete their graduation with decent scores and to have secured a valid score in an accepted state-based/ nation-based management entrance exam.

The primary eligibility requirements to get admission into the MMS course at SIES College of Management Studies and Welingkar Mumbai are almost similar, in which candidates are required to complete their bachelor's degree with at least an aggregate of 50%. Moreover, for the selection process, the college also accepts the same management entrance exams, i.e., MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, and MAH CET. Thus, it is tough to find out which college is easier. However, different factors can be compared to determine which institution is easier. To know these factors better, refer to the links below:
