There are differences in the selection procedure for the full-time and part-time MMS programmes at JBIMS Mumbai. Check out the selection process for particular courses below: 

Full-Time MMSPart-Time MMS
  • To pursue a Master of Management Studies (MMS) degree, students have to clear an entrance exam conducted by the appropriate bodies.
  • In order to be eligible for admission to this programme, candidates need to clear the MAH-MBA CET Exam/ CAT/ ATMA, etc.
  • The selection of the students for MMS programme is conducted through the Common Admission Process i.e., CAP Counselling carried out by DTE, Maharashtra. 
  • Admission will be based on the performance of applicants in the selection test. 
  • Selection test consists of “Common Entrance Test” and “Group Discussion”
  • Change in admission to the different programmes is not allowed after the admission is completed.

Yes, JBIMS Mumbai offers MMS courses for full-time and part-time modes. The full-time MMS courses are available for a two-year duration, divided into four semesters. Further, part-time MMS courses are available in three years, divided into six semesters. The general eligibility criteria asked by the institute to get admission into this course is candidates must qualify for their Class 10 and 12 with a minimum of 60% aggregate, and graduation with a minimum score of 50%. Additionally, the scores of MAH- MBA CET, MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, or ATMA are considered for deciding the final seat allotment.&nbs

The salary trend of MMS graduates at Guru Nanak Institute of Management Studies (GNIMS) Mumbai is also depends on the year of passing and specialization. As per the latest data available, the average salary is Rs. 3.75 Lacs in a year . Their the highest pay scale remunerations depended on had been Rs. 10 Lacs per Annum and even Rs. 15 Lacs per Annum . GNIMS has over the years been producing qualified students that are being employed by the creamjacket organisation such as ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, and Vodafone among others. VIT Mumbai MMS admission is provided to applicants who fulfil the preset eligibility criteria. The VIT Mumbai MMS eligibility criteria is as follows:

  • The candidate should be an Indian National;
  • The candidate must have passed a Bachelor's degree of at least three years, from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% (45% in the case of candidates belonging to backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)

The institute does not conduct any college level entrance exam for MMS course admission. However, for admission to MMS courses, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies. The selection criteria for the course is MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAH CET.

Yes, Sasmira's Institute of Management Studies and Research offers management quota in MMS. The college reserved 15% of seats for management quota in MMS. In management quota colleges offer direct admission based on last qualifying exam scores.

To be eligible for MMS, candidates must have a graduation degree with 50% from a recognised university. The college offers entrance-based admission to MMS. To be eligible for admission, candidates are required to appear in one entrance exam accepted by the college, such as MMS CET/CMAT/MAT/ATMA and others.

No, candidates who are looking for MMS course admission at Vidyavardhini College of Engineering and Technology should pass MAH CET. Aspirants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. The industry perceives the value of MMS to be equivalent to an MBA or a PGDM. As stated above, the course curriculum is on similar lines as that of the MBA and PGDM and the students get ample industry exposure along with approximately three-month summer internship. Moreover, if s/he is armed with an MMS degree from reputed institutes like JBIMS or SIMSREE, then its value is considered equivalent as that of a PGP from IIMs or MBA from FMS, Delhi or IIFT or a PGDM from XLRI Jamshedpur or MDI Gurgaon.
