You can go a BA in music like instrumental music, classical music courses, etc. Music is one of best options to make a career after class 12th, but it depends on your learning centre. You should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in any discipline with music as an elective subject from any recognised board. As you do not have music in class 12th so I would suggest you to follow your passion and join some academy for music which will help in grooming your skills and make a career in the same.

For admission, you must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45%aggregate and must have Music as one of the mandatory subject. The aggregate of one language and three best elective subjects (Music including) would be considered as best four subjects (BFS). Candidates who have learned Music for a minimum of 3 years from a recognised institute or certified teacher are also eligible.

Sorry but with music honors, there is no option of selecting economics as a subject. The syllabus generally covers music subjects like Musicology, Stage Performance, Theory of Indian Music, and many more. You can have a look at the syllabus of the college where you wish to apply.

In classical music, you need to learn about Raag, Bilawal, Raag Bhupali, Raag Yaman, Raag Bhairav, Raag Khamaaj, Raag Kaafi, and other popular Ragaas in the starting. Once you learn about them, practice more on the ones which you think you are good at.

Why do you want to switch from animation to classical music? You can anytime go for classical music classes along with the PG course, if you have interest in the same. Moreover, you need to have a BA Degree to pursue this course.
