Yes, if you confident about it, then take a drop. Prepare well for it. Otherwise, drop is not a good idea. Go for some good coaching institutes that provide good notes about engineering entrance exam. And they also keep you up to date about exams pattern, old papers, syllabus etc. Best of luck.

NITs are colleges with some cut-off criteria for admission. The college does not reveal it and every year it is changing.
But for reference, you can refer to the official website of NIT Warangal. They have provided complete details of opening and closing ranks of the previous year.

Generally a score around 200 is good enough to get NITs. For Chemical Engineering also a score around 150-160 is good enough. Still, you can better check the college predictor link for the expected colleges list-
