CGPA  at IIM Nagpur is calculated based on a weighted average of the grades obtained in different courses. Each course is assigned credits based on its weightage in the curriculum. The grades are typically on a scale of 0 to 10, with corresponding grade points assigned to each grade. The CGPA is calculated by multiplying the grade points obtained in each course with its respective credits, summing them up for all courses, and dividing the total by the sum of credits. This calculation provides an overall measure of a student's academic performance throughout their programme at IIM Nagpur.

For last year, the closing rank for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 35466 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, Nagpur.
