NIELIT Shimla Centre is located in the heart of the city in lower Jakhoo area. The Centre was inaugurated on April 10, 1995 by the then Chief Minister Sh. Virbhadra Singh with the objective of sensitizing youth of the state towards IT and spread IT culture in the State of Himachal Pradesh.
