The National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur, does not feature in the list of medical colleges in India revealed by ranking agencies including NIRF of the HRD Ministry. However, it is accredited for quality in medical education, clinical training, and in health care for Facilities. NIMS is renowned locally especially in Rajasthan for it's MBBS and MD courses. The institute is pragmatic with facilities like a teaching hospital of more than 900 bed and various post graduate and allied health Science courses. It still has its status recognised in the context of private sector, although it is not ranked nationally

For MBBS admission to the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur, the following documents are required:

2. Mark sheet and Passing Certificate of 10+2

The MBBS programme of the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur considers the NEET UG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test). NEET is the only entrance test accepted by the institute for MBBS admission. For admission, one should clear NEET UG qualifying mark, which are approximately in range of 200-450 for Management quota and for 400-500 for state quota. Performance in NEET decides the option for counseling and allocation of a particular seat because NIMS does not hold an individual examination to offer admission in MBBS programme.

To get admission to the National Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (NIMS), Jaipur, for MBBS, you must:
1. Qualify NEET UG: Obtain the necessary cut off NEET score (it is about 200-450 for management quota and 400-500 for state quota).
