At the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, the cost of undergraduate studies for BA LLB ( Hons) is Rs.1.75 Lacs annually. For the OBC group, it's around Rs. 1 Lacs annually. also, it's roughly Rs. 55,000 for the SC ST group annually. These just cover the education; the council may charge redundant for other costs like food and hostel.

15,000 is collected by the council for institutional development; this fee is non-refundable. A separate admission fee of Rs. 5,000 and an examination cost of Rs. 10,000 would be needed.

The Rajiv Gandhi National University law (RGNUL) accepts scores from the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for admission to its graduate and undergraduate legal programmes. For admission to undergraduate and graduate legal programmes in India, a national entrance exam known as CLAT is offered.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) conducts the CLAT, and candidates who pass it with at least 45% of the potential points are entitled to take it.  English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning, and Aptitude are part of the exam.

Every year, The Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) has a different minimal cutoff for the BA LLB (Hons) programme. But generally speaking, in order to be taken into consideration for admission to RGNUL's BA LLB (Hons) programme, you must have a CLAT score of at least 1300.

For the last three years, the RGNUL BA LLB (Hons) CLAT cutoff rank has continuously remained above 1200. This is because there is a lot of competition for programme spots. In the year 2021, the cutoff for CLAT was around 1389. In 2022, it was 1211 and in 2023, it was around 1307.
