The Mathematics syllabus of NDA written exam consists of Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Calculus, Statistics and Probability that is all base on 10+2 level.

In the written exam of NDA, Maths paper has 120 questions and the General Ability Test has 150 questions. Therefore, total questions asked are 270.

The NDA written exam duration is five hours. It is divided into two papers. Both the papers are of two and half hours duration each and are conducted on the same day in two shifts including Mathes and the General Ability Test (GAT).

The NDA exam, which consists of both a written exam and an SSB interview, is administered twice a year. The two sections of the NDA written exam are the General Ability Test (GAT) and Mathematics. The exam consists of 270 questions altogether, with both exams including objective-style questions. In particular, there are 150 questions on the GAT and 120 questions on the mathematics paper. 900 marks are allotted for the NDA exam. The NDA exam is often quite demanding. Candidates who prepare well can pass the test.

For the three wings of the Indian Armed Forces, the five-day SSB interview is essentially the same. There are two stages to the SSB interview process. Phase I: Screening Phase II: Psychological testing, group assessments, board conferences, and interviews Applicants must arrive at the designated centres or the centre they selected when completing their application on time. The NDA exam is administered twice a year by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) to select male and female applicants for admission to the Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) and its Army, Navy, and Air Force branches.
