The eligibility required is:
1. UG
Almost all US universities require 16 years of education. That is four years of education after high school/junior college.
If you have a three-year degree from an Australian, Indian, New Zealand university or such similar three-year degree programmes, you will not be eligible for admission in most of the MBA programmes. You would require a professional four-year degree like engineering or any other course.

Hi Deepak,
Kindly, mention if you have chosen any university /B-school in New York. If yes, you can check the specific requirements on their website. MBA applicants are required to take the GMAT, TOEFL, have work experience and must hold a four year Bachelor degree or equivalent. I don't think you are eligible at the moment but you can write to the universities first.

In terms of expense, San Francisco no doubt is more expensive. It is one of the most expensive cities in the world. Also as per various reports graduates in salary structure in San Francisco is higher compared to Buffalo.
