Well, two years' work experience is a great asset. Any work experience would be good. Internships from former companies shows that you have some practical experience and that you appreciate the course.
Skills required would be some grasp on Excel, and some CAD Software, you require good communication skills, they will test that from the entrance exam, and basic concepts from your engineering is important.
Learning BIM/MEP will be very useful but you need not fret if you don't have a certification on that yet. You have ample time to learn on the term here.
Other skills like singing, dancing or other cultural inclinations or technical paper

I recollect that they do consider your CAT scores if you have given that exam. But i do not recollect having come across a situation where you can apply via CMAT. Prepare well for NCAT and crack that exam, since you have given CMAT and you can score well for it.
Sorry for the delay, I couldn't get appropriate information on time.

The NCAT process generally comprises three rounds:
The written test round: you'd need to brush up on 10th grade RS Aggarwal Math and other CAT-based questions and English aptitude. Take this round very seriously. and make sure you attend more than 60% of all the sections.Don't get hung up on one section because you feel you're good at it. If you want an intensive course on Quantity Surveying and General Construction Management, I believe that is the course for you. It has sufficient information and gives you enough exposure to get you placed in that specific job profile.
Also, the Hyderabad campus boasts of an impressive placement record.
For further details, kindly contact the office of that campus they will furnish you with first hand information.

ACM or PM both have a lot of opportunities. Students from NICMAR have been placed in very reputed companies once they complete there degrees. So I would suggest you to join PM.

Ranking and placement packages are dependent upon the market situations and other economic factors.
My recommendation is to join the college for the reputation it has in training and preparing the students. Several well-accomplished alumni have stated that the college curriculum is sufficient to help work your way through.
Therefore, the call is yours ultimately, but in my opinion, the college is doing a good job, irrespective of the ranking it gets per year.
