It is difficult to speak in a course specific manner, but what I can say is approximately 80 percent of the Ifdm batch is expected up be placed by Feb end. For further details, you may have a look at the placement brochure on the website: www.nicmar.ac.in

Compare both in terms of placements and then take the call. I am not knowledgeable about the college you are refferig to in comparison.
NICMAR is established to meet the demands and need of the CRIP market by the market leaders themselves. The courses are not plain management, but rather techno management where you shall have to retain your btech knowledge and add more to it.

Not to be rude Devanshu, if you have been careless enough to miss dates of admission and forget dates of payment, I believe you are not really intersted in coming over to NICMAR. If you are indeed interested still, then call up the admission cell and ask them for guidance. You can find the details in the website www.NICMAR.ac.in

Hello,
Yes, you can totally go for it. NICMAR is a really nice college for all kind of management courses. College atmosphere is quite good as well as the staff members. The best thing out there is the placement. You can carry out with your MBA programme in that college without any problem. It is worth pursuing a MBA from there and it is good to know that you got a call letter from a very good college.
Congratulations and good luck.

Yes, this time is just fine. You have enough experience to be eligible for the companies that come for placements and also you must have saved just enough. Responsibilities shall be less, and you can devote some time to studies. It should do you good help.
Good luck!

In the little time that I have spent here as a student, I feel that the one thing NICMAR doesn't compromise on is the teaching quality. The teachers are well versed in their respective fields and are capable enough. Yes, this is going to be the first batch of NICMAR NCR, and yes, it bears the brand name of NICMAR. Trust me when I say this, that brand bears some weight. I want you to weigh your other viable options against this one and take the final call. Good luck.

As of 2016, the placement seems a bit precarious, true, but understand that you shall be passing out in 2018. I recommend you do a comparison of NICMAR with your other viable options in terms of growth. Generally people here target the second company rather than the first placement. When you pass out of NICMAR, you get a tag of being at a premiere institute and the actual worth comes to play when you shift after working for 2 to 3 years at your first placed company. The jump you shall receive, generally trumps the placements and opportunities opened up by other similar institutes.
Again, do your research a bit before joining in. It shal

It all depends on what you consider as "worth".
One one hand, you can choose to pursue aicte/ugc approved general MBA and pgdm courses. They shall get you your desired career boost and also make you eligible to continue a PhD at a later date.
Or, you can choose NICMAR, which is built with just one and one objective, to cater to the need of the industry. L&T, HCC, EnY, PwC, SPCL etc are just some of the clients the institute caters to year after year and the clients always return with repeat orders, the institute must be doing something right, right.
So, if you are oriented towards a career which shall put you in the thick of action of the
