NIMAS Placement

Here are some placement statistics for different courses at NIMAS, Kolkata: B.Sc. in Medical Lab Technology:

80% of students get placed, with an average salary package of 6 LPA and the highest salary package of INR 8 LPA 

Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA): 60% of students are placed, with an average salary package of INR 4.5 LPA and the lowest salary package of INR 1.5 LPA B.Optom. 80% of students are placed in on-campus placement drives.

Moderate placements are achieved in NIMAS for MSc. Many students placed through placement in companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, HDFC. The average package is 3 - 4 Lacs per annum. And the highest package was around 6 -7 lakh. Overall 75% students are placed every year.

On comparing NIMAS with KSMS, NIMAS has good reputation in terms of placements than Kingston college. NIMAS has great placement records especially for paramedical and other courses with average salary of 3.5 Lacs per annum with top recruiting companies like wipro, TCS, IBM, tech Mahindra etc. This college placement cell is active in searching opportunity for students to secure great jobs. 

Kingston school of management and Science has relatively lower placement rate and average salary offering. Both NIMAS and KSMS provides quality education but NIMAS has shown stronger commitment towards placements.

According to Shiksha.com, placement outcomes for B.Tech at NIPS and New Media can vary based on factors like individual performance, skills, and industry demand.

NIPS has a good placement and internship record since its inception in 1993. It has won the Best International Placement Award. NIPS has a 100% selection record for its pass-out students. Some of the top recruiters that visit NIPS include Hyatt and Leela.

The Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media had a 100% placement rate in 2022. Some of the popular recruiters include Times Now, The New Indian Express, Reuters, and CNBC TV18.
