- Placement wise mechanical and CS are the safest branch of NIT Agartala. If you are good you will surely land up multiple offers with many companies. You will have an opportunity to sit for prestigious companies like Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Motors, Maruti, Ashok Leyland, Fiat, Tata Technologies, L&T and many more. Do not depend solely on professors, be your own teacher and gain training experience, attend workshops, get good internships.

There is uncertainty regarding any branch. Maybe you can get bio engineering but if you belong to SC or ST category you might get some core branches as well.

Hi,
Both NIT Agartala and NIT Rourkela are good. In case of CSE in NIT Agartala, Placements: Placement is not very much impressive. Because of its remote location few companies are willing to visit for campus placements. Placement for CSE branch is comparatively good. 90% of the job offers come from IT sector. Placement for non CSE branches are not good. Generally 2u20133 IT service based companies (like Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. ). Visit for mass campus drives. They hire like 70u2013150 people in a slot. Then some product based IT companies (like Samsung, Oracle, information edge etc. ). Also come. They hire like 2u20137

IIIT Delhi is good but its fee is very high. If we talk about government colleges, then IIIT Allahabad is the best government college and can be considered equal to good NITs. After that comes DAIICT Gandhinagar, IIIT Vadodara. Most of the IIITs are recently opened and are new, so they are not good enough.

IIIT-Ranchi is newly constructed college. As far as NIT-Agartala is concerned, it is one of the oldest NITs. The other factor you can consider, is if you haven't got branch of your choice, then you can go for Ranchi instead of studying halfheartedly for Civil, but overall NITA is much better option.

No, first you are not qualifying the criteria for 10 + 2 percentile, and second you have to give JEE Mains for sure.

If you fall under general category, then it is tough, but for other categories you might stand a chance.

No, not at all, you have to apply for JEE Main to take admission in prestigious NITs, and even you are not following the percentile score for 10 + 2.
